The Command Key Overrides Snaps
In PowerCADD, the Command key is used in the drawing process to
override the snapping. In other words, when you press the Command
key, you're saying "Don't snap" to PowerCADD.

Pressing the Command key overrides the automatic center snapping.
In this case, as you draw a line toward the center of the circle, the line is snapped to the center of the circle. But you don't want that to happen, so you press the Command key down and it stops snapping to the center.
It's your way of saying, "I don't want you to do that right now."
