PowerCADD's Best-Loved Feature
PowerCADD allows you to completely re-configure over 500 user-definable keyboard commands-easily. You can assign command keys to menu items, tools, colors, line styles and others. You can assign and/or change the key commands to match the ones you use with other applications--the ones you are already familiar with.

Set your own command keys for tools and commands.

This is one of the best-loved features of PowerCADD, because if you want to assign Shift-K to the black pen pattern (Pen Pattern 3), you can just do it.

Please understand that you can use any combination of modifer keys (Command, Shift, Option) with the key or also a Function key on an extended keyboard. So you can use Command-N for 'New', N for 'Normal Size', and Command-Shift-N for something else. This provides a huge selection of possibilities.

Highly proficient PowerCADD users often have hundreds of commands assigned, and they often use the commands to select tools, menu commands, pen sizes, fill colors, etc.
