Cover-Up with White Objects
It's a simple matter to cover-up part of a drawing with a white
object. Here's an example. Suppose you wanted to block out part
of the drawing below, so you could leave it white, or draw over
it with something else. With most CAD programs, you would actually
have to cut all of the pieces in the drawing.

Draw a rectangle and make it white to cover up a part of the drawing.
But in this case, you would just draw a rectangle, fill it with white and make the pen white. Presto! Everything 'behind' the white rectangle disappears. And like any other object, you could move the white rectangle around, or make it larger.

Move a window with a white-filled rectangle under the window.
For example, if you placed a door or window in a stone wall by using a white-filled rectangle to blot out the wall, then if you move the door or window, the wall would be self-healing.
