Advanced Dimensioning
PowerCADD has a number of advanced dimensioning tools. All of these share a common tool setting dialog:


Set the behavior of the dimensioning tools.

Here you can set the dimensional units, the accuracy, tolerances, etc.


Autodimension Line Tool
This tool is used to draw a dimension line.

Autodimension Extension Line Tool
This tool is to draw a dimension line with one or two extension lines.

Face Dimension Tool
This tool is used to dimension a flat surface at any angle by selecting the surface and dragging the dimension.

String Dimension Tool
This tool is used to dimension a drawing with a series of dimensions which fall in a straight line.

Stack Dimension Tool
This tool is to dimension a drawing with a stack of evenly spaced parallel dimensions originating from a common dimension line.

Zero Reference Dimension Tool
This tool allows you to place a dimension on a point which tells you how far that point is away from the drawing origin.
