Door & Window Tools

You set the behavior of the tool in the tool's dialog:

Set the door thickness, width and minimum distance from wall end. If you select Trim Wall, then the wall lines will be cut, otherwise a white rectangle will be placed behind the door to blot out the wall.

Placing a door.

To use the tool, you click on one wall line, drag to the other and then move the door to where you want it. The door will flip to the side of the wall as you move the cursor from one side of the wall to the other.

As with the door, you set the dimensions of the window and the minimum distance from the wall end.

Placing a window.

To use the tool, you click on one wall line, drag to the other, and then move the cursor around to locate the window. As you can see, you can place the window centered on the wall or on each wall line.
