Edit All Layers

Edit Objects on the Current Layer or All Layers
You have the choice of editing the objects on the current layer only, or objects on all layers.

Turn Edit All Layers on and off with the Layers window.

You can turn Edit All Layers on and off with the Layers window, as shown above.

Turn Edit All Layers on and off with the Status window.

In addition, you can turn Edit All Layers on and off with the Status window, as shown above. The Status window shows the number of selected objects and allows you to switch layers. In this example, there is one selected object on the layer named 'Mask', and if you click on the 'Mask' button, you will switch to the Mask layer.
