Use the Edit Window and Continue Drawing
The PowerCADD tools and WildTools take slightly different approaches
to the Edit window. Both methods have merit, and you can use either
one to your advantage.
With WildTools, when you edit something with the Edit window, you're through, and the object will be placed in the drawing immediately.
With the PowerCADD tools, the dimension or angle that you edit becomes locked (and is shown by a bold-face title in the Edit window), and you can continue to draw with the cursor. This allows you to edit a line angle by typing, but set the length with the cursor. Or you could edit the length by typing and then use the cursor to set the angle. Let's try it.

Click and drag, edit the length, then move the cursor to set the
angle.
In this case, we begin by drawing the line. Click and then drag the cursor to start drawing the line.
Press the Tab key to enter the Edit window and type the length of 1.25". Notice that "Length" is now bold, indicating that it is locked.
Press the Enter key to get out of the Edit window and continue drawing. Move the mouse to set the angle of the line, and click. The line will be placed in the drawing.
