Move Selected Areas
PowerCADD has the ability to move selected areas of a drawing.
This might more properly be called 'stretching' because only the
vertices which fall within the selected area are moved.

Draw a rectangle around the area you want, and then stretch it.
The result is that, in some cases, only one end of a line might be moved, or two corners of a rectangle might be moved, while the other corners stay in place. This action is shown in the example above.
This is a powerful capability, and it allows you to shift part of a design around without having to redraw everything.
In addition to the Move Points command of PowerCADD, there's also a Move Points tool in WildTools.
| WildTools is an extra-cost add-on to PowerCADD. The features described for WildTools are only available if you purchase WildTools in addition to PowerCADD. |
