The Biggest Expense is Your Time, So Don't Waste It.
Beautiful drawings and easy-to-learn software are important, but
at the end of the day, the biggest expense is your time. It's
how much work you can get done in the course of a day.
There's a 'standard wisdom' in the CAD industry, despite all the claims by software companies, that the real-world, actual-use experience is that it takes about as long to draw something on a computer as it does by hand, and that the payoff comes with the second use of the image and with the ease of modifying a drawing.
That may be true of most of the mainstream CAD programs out there, but not with PowerCADD and WildTools. Indeed, one of the problems we face is that many people have trouble believing that the enormous gains in productivity are even within the realm of the possible.

Take the case of General Engineering Laboratories of Charleston, South Carolina, for example. They have long experience with both PowerCADD and AutoCAD, and they have 40 engineers working on civil engineering projects and environmental studies. We asked CAD manager Kevin Craft what their experience with WildTools has been. "We've doubled out productivity", he reports.
