End Snap
End allows you to the endpoint of an object. End snap works much
like vertex in that items are snapped to end points and corners
of objects. For objects having more than one corner, such as rectangles,
the closest corner will be found. Unlike vertex snap, the end
point does not need to be close or even on the screen.

End snap finds the endpoint of an object.
With vertex snaps, you have to get the cursor very close to the desired point, and in tight locations, such as with the rectangle above, you have to depend on your skill and luck to get the desired location. However with end snaps, you only have to get the cursor over the desired object.
Like a virtuoso guitar player who barely moves his fingers over the strings, you can achieve tremendous economy of motion by using end snaps since the mouse movement can often be much less than with vertex snapping.
Grid Snap
Grid allows you to align objects to the grid. This will turn the
grid on momentarily if it is turned off. Grid snapping does not
have a Snap Locator at snap points, but it will be highlighted
in the Dynamic Snap Indicator.

Asking for the grid snap with the G key overrides the automatic
center snap.
In this example, we've set up the grid at 1/8" increments, and we want to draw a line to a point on the grid, but the center snap of the circle will get in our way. So we ask for the grid snap with the G key and override the automatic center snap.
Intersection Snap
Intersection allows you to snap to the intersections of two objects.

Intersection snap finds the intersections between two objects.
To ask for an intersection snap, press the X key long enough for PowerCADD to find the closest intersection, and continue to hold the X key down until the mouse is clicked at the start of a line, or released at the end of a line.
