Re: PowerCadd 10
No news is...., well, no news (which is disappointing). Things seem to have been fairly quiet on this forum with the last post almost a month ago. I am working on what I hope to be my last two projects, before I effectively retire. My need for PC10 to arrive is diminishing, due to its protracted dev...

Re: PowerCadd 10
Not me. With each release, I play a little, then realize that I have to get productive and go back to PC9 on my old computer. I do use PC10 for opening PC9 files for a quick look, but don't do any actual work on them.william giesen wrote: ↑Tue Mar 18, 2025 10:12 pmAre people using the Beta for producing sets of documents yet?

Unfortunately, TimeMachine wasn't the cause of my Synergy/PC lag. I'll keep exploring...

Re: What is the deal with PowerCadd development?
Hey Patrick, I was having similar ‘slowdowns’ and I think I found it was correlated to when TimeMachine was doing backups. That may not be the situation for you but thought I’d mention it. Thanks for the tip, Derek! That may very well be the case, and one possibility that I hadn’t considered. I’ll ...

Re: What is the deal with PowerCadd development?
I use Synergy to share the keyboard and mouse between my 2023 16" MacBook Pro (running sequoia) and my 2010 17" MacBook Pro (running high sierra, the latest operating system this computer can handle). Due to the age of my old computer, I have to use Synergy 1.14.6 (which isn't current) on both compu...

Re: PowerCadd 10
With the last beta release, my computer wouldn't install it and kept giving me an error message. I replied to the beta release email about the problem, and to my surprise, received a reply within 24 hours. To me that was a good sign, in that someone is in the office and checking email. (I think the ...

I think you send am email to [email protected], and request being a Beta tester.bartabumww wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 12:22 amHow does one get a hold of the PowerCADD 10 Beta? Does it work on M-chip Macs? Thank you!
PC10 works on the latest Macs, which is why we are anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Re: PowerCadd 10
I’ve been limping along, using a 2023 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia) for most of my work, a 2011 17” PowerBook Pro (with High Sierra) for PC9, and using Synergy to share the mouse/keyboard between them. I keep all my files on the MBP, and only use the PBP for PC. I just came to the decision that I am go...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
I can use PC10 to open DWG files then "save as" PC9 files. That's interesting. Does it work the other way around too? i.e. open a PC9 file in PC10 and then save to DWG? I find the PC9 DWG translator problematic when translating dashed lines. It tends to create solid lines. Thanks David I just check...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
I am currently limping along running PC9 on a 2010 17" MacBook Pro under High Sierra, mouse/keyboard sharing (via Synergy) with a 2023 16" MacBook Pro under Sequoia. While I am eagerly awaiting a fully functional version of PC10, I have found a benefit of the PC10 beta: I can use PC10 to open DWG fi...
