Apple's latest Operating Systems make the 7.0.6 update Mandatory.
PowerCADD 7.0.6 Changes

Added an optional setting in the Print Dialog under PowerCADD settings to print dimmed layers using a gray pen pattern instead of using transparency. This feature may be of assistance when printing to Postscript devices that have quality or time issues when using transparency.

Stability and compatibility with System 10.5.x (Leopard's) "Spaces" feature improved.

Attribute menus will no longer grow as objects are pasted into to a drawing with the "Global Attributes" feature is enabled.

Compatibility with certain older hatch definitions has been improved. Crash fixed.

Some of the attribute menus (lines, arrows, dashes) could under some circumstances grow incorrectly and beyond their allowable range causing command problems and in some cases instability. This issue has been addressed.

Drawing that have acquired too many dashes experienced a problem where the dash editor would crash with no method to remove the excess dashes. The dash edit dialog will always allow removal of dashes.
The list below contains the changes made in PowerCADD maintenance release 7.0.5

Many users have stated that after updating to Leopard 10.5 PowerCADD 7 is substituting fonts unnecessarily. Engineered Software has listened to those comments and updated PowerCADD to address several reported Leopard 10.5 issues.

Font names will be used to locate the correct fonts in drawings instead of font numbers. OS 10.5 Leopard changed the font numbers on many common fonts and PowerCADD was substituting fonts unnecessarily.

Several dialogs were not displaying their graphic elements under OS 10.5 Leopard and are now displaying correctly in their respective dialogs.

The Export dialog for Bit image exports was not updating at all. The Advanced dialog for Export was virtually a blank dialog. Both of these issues have been corrected.

We have added a user-selectable font replacement dialog for missing fonts when a file is read.

We have added a Find and Replace Font item to the Text menu.

We have fixed a crash condition when reading some PowerDraw 6 files containing symbols.

We have fixed a number of memory leaks when PowerCADD was idle and the active application.

Please report any other issues that you might find with System 10.5.x and PowerCADD to Engineered Software at engsw.com.
