Presentation Graphics

Phil Loheed has been intimitely involved in the creation of PerspectiveTools, and this is his first serious drawing using the tools. This is an urban design study -- in progress -- and it is the result of about a week's work. The sky is a stretched and simplified version of Matt Arnold's sky library in the PowerCADD Bullpen.

Phil began by creating the vanishing points and located the basic street layout in plan view.

He then used the Perspective Blocking-In tool to convert these to perspective views, and he did this with the faces of the buildings as well.

Even the street names and signage on the hotels and shops were created using the Perspective Blocking-In tool.

The foreground buildings are shown with ghosted white lines so you can 'see through them'.
