Summit Depot, ca 1950's
| The Summit Depot drawing is a part of an extensive historical examination of a site in Cajon Pass, a well known railroad corridor to the East from the Los Angeles area. The structures were removed or razed in the late 50's. My part of this study is to create architectural drawings of the structures based on available photographs. The photos generally show the structures only incidentally as part of the background, so interpretation gets a bit 'creative' some times. Other times the information comes from former employees or their families who worked there in the 40's and 50's. |
