Renderings were a quick two-day output and helped to give an impression of a building that is only partially designed. A very simple FormZ hidden line rendering was brought into PowerCADD and then vanishing points were established and many lines added.

Like WildTools 3D, PowerCADD's perspective tools are easy to get the hang of and produce very satisfying results.

The hardest things to make beautiful are people, trees and vehicles. Drawings often do not do them justice. Even libraries that have been professionally produced still appear clinical and plain. I find the nicest way to illustrate people and vehicles and trees is to trace them from photos. The photo captures attitude, posture, and weight in a way that is not measured or calculated. The design becomes what to include and what to abstract. These are a few of my own that draw some inspiration from the 'club cards' found around town.
