Let's take a look at just how robust PowerCADD 2000 can be. These are portions of drawings prepared for a recently completed urban design and housing project on the Vancouver Water Front. PowerCADD was used literally from start to finish for design and production drawings. In fact, we even used PowerCADD to assemble the photo image boards used to submit this project for the 2001 CSLA (Canadian Society of Landscape Architects) national awards program. If you'd like to learn more about this project visit the Durante Kreuk Ltd Web Site and visit our awards page. |

Most projects start with design sketches and renderings for city and client approval. Here's some examples of a rendering from one of the components of this project. In this case, the overall rendering was prepared entirely in PowerCADD. Original sheet size 36 x 48.

This is a partial section of the original P2K rendering at full size (1:1 print size). There are no raster graphics in this image, it's all PowerCADD objects and fill patterns.

The overall PowerCADD rendering was imported into Photoshop. Different filters were applied to shadows and shrub areas. The filtered version was placed back into PowerCADD for final hilites, text and printing.

This is a partial section of the 'diddled' rendering at full size (1:1 print size). People can be added in PowerCADD or Photoshop as they are PowerCADD symbol library parts as are the trees.
