A line drawing, created with PowerCADD and WildTools, of a typical courtyard layout for a proposed high school in Jurupa, California.

And here's that same drawing colored in Photoshop. The line drawing was brought into Photoshop, then placed as a separate channel from the RGB channel in lieu of using a separate layer (a file-size saver), then once the color is complete, the line drawing image is applied to the RGB channel, and the separate channel is deleted.
