Pat Loheed Landscape Architect

Lafayette Square Plans, Elevations, and DWG, Rosalie Johnson and Pat Loheed This series of conceptual plans was developed for community review planning processes in Cambridge, MA for a neighborhood between Harvard and MIT. There were divergent concepts of more trees and less trees. The historic types wanted fewer trees to preserve view lines of old street ways. They eventually won the discussion. The tree and site furnishings developed for these documents were later adapted for the Camfield and Framingham projects.

It was useful to have CAD drawings that could easily be modified for the 19-plus community meetings held over a 9-month period for this project.
