Re: PowerCadd 10
Respectfully... and honestly, I see no reason why PowerCADD should support ancient OS systems. Most other software does not anyway, and even OSs will eventually not support older machines either. Yes, having an all-newer workstation will maybe be costly for some, but we cannot expect total satisfact...

Re: PowerCADD Future
Thanks, David. It really means a lot. I’m sure that when it finally comes out, you’ll have many new users. Especially those who will wonder why such a program never existed before, not knowing it had existed for decades.

Re: PowerCADD Future
I watched the twin motion videos; some of the stuff it can do is really amazing locking at just architectural visuals. I have seen some of these before particularly where a model has been created in vectorworks and imported into twin motion. For the purpose of this discussion, however it seems the ...

Re: PowerCADD Future
Can we keep this topic about Apple separated from PowerCADD Future? Otherwise, this discussion about Apple being evil, or whatever, will cause an overflow of responses pretty much as it happens on Facebook, with no end in sight, and we will lose track of what we're discussing here.

Migration
Hi guys, if I leave my i9 with Mojave and PowerCADD and buy one of the new M MacBooks and use Migration Assistant to transfer all my data (even If I delete PC and all it’s files after migration), will Migration Assistant transfer the old system too? I’m guessing that if I chose not to migrate “Syste...

Re: ILEXSOFT High Design Users?
Well, this is great news… I did like High Design when I tried it and would make the jump if the future is viable for an architect who’s getting too old to try to learn things that shouldn’t be so complicated. Wild Tools would complement HD very well and make the transition very tempting. Andrea, ple...

Re: ILEXSOFT High Design Users?
I tried it during the trial period. It was more intuitive than other programs I also downloaded but lacks tools that I find useful and that other programs do have, such as joining two polygons into one shape or substracting (I don't really know how to call the tools - names vary). However, it shows ...

Re: PowerCADD Future
I received a call from a friend who's still using PC but was not aware of what is happening since she's not a member of the forum. Sadly, I reported the news. There must be quite a lot of people who have remained ignorant of the facts. Since there haven't been any recent news on further developments...

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?
that's probably due to my not having time or patience to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I’ve tried several alternatives in trial mode. I give up. The frustration is real. I have a friend who used PC for many years and switched to VectorWorks, and he tells me it’s the one that’s more similar to PC...
