Re: PowerCadd 10

I have been using PowerCadd and Wildtools since around 2001. It would be nice to hear some news, but I would rather the folks working on the update continue working than take time to post updates. Once a month would be nice. Regardless I will wait for the next version of PowerCadd and hope that Wild...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Rik, First of all I think it is great that you are still working at 79, I love it. Second, you are so right it is never too late to learn. I am going to update to a Mac Studio as well, I already have the new 27" Apple Display. I have purchased Vectorworks and will start learning it this winter. I am...

Re: PowerCadd 10

This is great news. Thank you David for letting us know. I will keep running PowerCadd 9 on my 2019 iMac until PowerCadd 10 is ready. Alfred you have been a very big part of why I chose PowerCadd for my drawing software, I appreciate all your hard work and that you are willing to make this difficult...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Todd, I use the spline tool, cloud tool, shrub and tree tool with every drawing. Scissor, cut, parallel offset, trim and extend, offset. Sorry, I'm sure some of these are powercadd tools as well. I have a hard time imagining using PowerCadd without Wildtools. It's integral to my process as a landsca...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Keith and CadMonkey, Thank you so much for the advice. I really appreciate it. I did have a learning curve with PC and expect the same with VW. I will check out Jonathon Reeves for sure and already have looked through my options in VW university. I'm thinking about VW training in person this winter....

Re: PowerCadd 10

Keith, I purchased Vectorworks recently and haven't started learning it yet. Any recommendations for getting started? I am not going to abandon PowerCADD, just want to make sure I can continue working. Since we have had no communication about when we will see the update or at least any information a...
