Re: PowerCadd’s Future?

My goal is to continue to use PowerCADD on my current iMac and to retire before the next code cycle, which is January 1, 2023 here in California. I might just coast into the finish line with this plan. I had researched using SketchUp/Layout, but I have so many details and shortcuts in PC, that I’d h...

Re: PowerCADD Bullpen

Just took a quick spin through some of the tips, and enjoyed seeing some of the names of the tipsters, many of whom I haven't thought of in years.

Re: Find and Replace?

I'm not sure how to put a tab directly in the box for PC, but for other programs, I normally copy/ paste a tab copied from somewhere else, sometimes a different program.

Re: Update of PowerCADD for MacOS Catalina

Normally, I’m not an early adopter (having been burned a few times), but I am anxious to have PC become Catalina (& onward) compatible. Right now, I’m on a late 2015 iMac, iPhone 6 and (who knows what generation) iPad Pro. I’d like all of my devices to work at the same level, so I can truly experien...

Re: Keystoke Help

Is it possibly related to something not being checked in Loader, or possibly your version of PC? (I'm running 9.1.10 and I see both "move" and "move..." in my Commands window.)

Derek,

Yet another WT that I didn't know about. This is exactly the way it is done in SketchUp and it is so convenient. Thank you!

Cheers,
Ralph

Re: Calibrate to pdf scale

Matt's method is basically the same as mine. I used to work with another architect for whom I'd always have to help correct scales of PDFs, imported DWGs, etc. My basic technique was to make sure the drawing was in decimal format, then use the Edit>Scale command then type "what you want"/"what you h...

Re: Acclimating myself to PowerCADD 9 from 6

To me, it's interesting to see how different people operate and approach similar circumstances. I learned to use PowerDraw before the toolbar really was functional, so the only thing I use it for is to change the nudge amount and to verify the drawing scale. I find key commands faster than moving my...
