My own two cents/ experience.... we are a small firm, we do mostly historic preservation and renovations so we are almost always dealing with existing buildings...we do some some small new commercial and residential work. All that being the case, we rarely need to model things in BIM, and if we do n...

Re: Vectorworks Architect

Thanks Keith. I look forward to seeing your drawings. One of my main complaints so far about line weights/ BIM is that the software attempts to draw all the lines no matter what scale you're at... Say if in your model you show drywall, then you want to show the floor plan at 1/8" scale, the software...

Re: Vectorworks Architect

Very pretty Keith. I would love to see the higher res. images up close if you dont mind sending me directly. My email is aaron@revivalarch.com I would be interested in knowing at what point you decide to abandon the 3D and focus on the 2D information, assuming that is what you do? What little experi...

Re: Vectorworks Architect

I just posted on a different thread about a separate discussion of seeing examples of work from VW. Wondering if there are more PCADD users out there that can show me your work done in VW? I would really like to see what it can do in terms of working drawings/details. Thanks.

Re: PowerCadd 10

I would love to see examples of y'alls work on VW. If you are old PCADD users, like me, I assume you have an appreciation for quality drawings, which is why PCADD is so helpful....line weights, use of fills/hatches, etc... organization of drawings. Ill see about starting a separate discussion on thi...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Please just send us what you got PowerCADD people. After years of waiting, us loyal users just need to know where things stand. I have made up my mind, BIM isn't for me, but if the new PowerCADD just isn't going to happen (and we've been here before), please just come out and say it, at which point ...
