Re: PowerCadd 10

Right now, the way the beta is running, one can open PC9 files in PC10. But if you want to continue with the document using PC9, you must save it in PC9. And I found that if you did not initially save it in PC9, then you may not be able to save it in other than PC10. I’ll investigate this further.

Re: PowerCadd 10

Many functions are not yet implemented in the current beta, so I don't know if they exist but are inaccessible for the moment, or if they need to be added... Door and Window placement tools- Not implemented yet. Included this in my latest test report. My wish is they implement the Wild Tools versio...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Since it appears that PC10 will fully arrive sooner rather than later I have a few questions: 1. Minimum System requirements? From the kickoff file....."PowerCADD 10 supports macOS 12 or later. PowerCADD 10 is a “Universal” app, so it will run native on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) and native on Intel ...

Re: Best Post PowerCADD Residential Drafting Application?

I am very very very relieved to know PowerCADD is coming back and when its 100% available, I will jettison Vectorworks and never look back. There is just no better CAD for small projects, in my opinion. For its considerable expense, Vectorworks has worked for my office as strictly a schematic desig...

Re: PowerCadd 10

I got my Beta II. The fun has begun! I'm excited about how the program is running. So far, smooth, no crashes yet. Program opens quickly. It opens PC9 files quickly. Maybe that's the Mac Studio. I have sent an initial report to PowerCADD support. I've tried it on a sample PC9 file and also on a new ...

Re: PowerCadd 10

I sent an email per the post quoted above and received a quick reply with further instructions (which I followed but have yet to be admitted to the testing program). I interpreted the quick reply as an encouraging sign. Same here- all registered, now the fun begins... All set up on my Mac Studio! I...

Re: PowerCadd 10

The Tornado Tool has been really useful to me. I'd like to see that incorporated into a subsequent release of PowerCadd. I'd favor incorporation of all wild tools with the exception of the Perspective Tools. And I'm with Rob on the importance of the Move Points tool, as that amounts to PC's version ...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Hi all, At the risk of getting myself in trouble I'll share the following observations on PC 10. I am one of the early beta testers and have signed a non-disclosure agreement to not discuss the beta. Hopefully this doesn't breach the agreement too far....... As I said, I hope I don't get in trouble...
