Re: PowerCadd’s Future?
Frank, I am counting the days until 65 as well, and I am hoping to continue working as long as I possibly can. PowerCadd has been part of my work since sometime in the mid-90s after using Claris Cadd for many years. I now use SketchUp as a companion program and spend 75% of my time in 3d. I worry fo...

Re: the most inconsequential question ever
Steve,
You are supposed to be able to click on the headers to change the sort parameters but this has not worked for some of us for quite a while. I know it is inconsequential but annoying as I have many templates that I use.

Re: PowerCADD Direction
The state of PCADD is unfortunately mostly unknown. Engineered Software has never been able to keep schedules and has NEVER been open with users. With WildTools it is without a doubt the single best 2D cad program ever made. This said, I know that in a year without a 64 bit solution I will have to k...

Re: Update of PowerCADD for MacOS Catalina
Malcom,
I spoke with Alfred about a month ago about this and set up a separate drive to test it. It works OK, but it seems Parallels is limited to a single monitor when emulating MacOS.
Cheers,
Ralph

Re: Calibrate to pdf scale
You can also use WildTools' Stretch Tool which saves you having to draw a line. You just click on the 2 points on the pdf, Tab into the Edit window and enter the known length. Derek, Yet another WT that I didn't know about. This is exactly the way it is done in SketchUp and it is so convenient. Tha...

Re: Acclimating myself to PowerCADD 9 from 6
I have used the Status palette for scale, nudge, and view scale for as long as I can remember. They're all in one small palette.

Re: WildTools 10.6
Alfred, You are probably the ONLY reason I stay on PCADD. I need 2 new computers and neither will run 32 bit apps so I'm kind of in a tight place. I know, I could get an older model, but seeing as how I keep computers for a long time (MacBook Pro 8 years, iMac 7 years) I really want to get the lates...
