Re: PowerCADD Future

My Mac is a 15-inch MacBook Pro, mid-2019, running Mojave. This setup works fine. No need for an earlier computer. I'm still running on my late 2009 Mac Pro with Mojave and have no plan or need to get a newer Mac. Now that I'm retired my biggest problem when its motherboard dies will be the discuss...

Re: PowerCADD Future

I am assuming that PC will not run on a new iMac running OS 11.5. Is this true? Yep, it won’t. The only solution for now is to get another older Mac (2014 Mini if you have another screen) with an older OS - not newer than Mojave) Or you can buy a new Mac with an Intel processor running macOS 11.5 a...

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?

Sorry if I was unclear, Greg. I am asking for examples of announced features in the next generation of Apple machines/OS that folks find compelling enough to make immediate upgrading a necessity. I have not seen one that I need, nor have I seen anyone point to any examples. Perhaps some folks just ...

Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?

Eduardo, No, Parallels Desktop 16.5 does not run Mojave on an M1 Mac. It says this at that link. Supported Guest Operating Systems (Apple M1) Windows 10 on ARM Insider Preview Windows on ARM can run most of the regular Windows x86 applications. You can download the Parallels Desktop trial and instal...

Are you sure about that? My understanding is that is yet to happen.

Re: Hatch with no line

If you set the pen to 'none' it shouldn't show and the hatch will remain visible.

Re: Gradient Thicken

Well the good news is I did it in PowerCADD. The bad news it isn't perfect and it's 'costly'. The basic steps are: 1. use a parallel offset tool to create a second bezier at the width you want the blur. 2. set the pen colour of the 'hard' bezier to what you want 3. set the colour of the other to whi...

Re: Gradient Thicken

I suspect you're asking for something like this but I don't think a gradient fill can do it.
