Re: PowerCadd 10

I just downloaded the new beta build and I get a 'You are not licensed for this product" dialog when I launch. I had that issue, but now it's working. It may have been that I have a different email for setting up accounts than regular correspondence, but I don't know if straightening that out is wh...

Re: PowerCadd 10

I followed instructions to create a "license account" and heard nothing since.

Don't hold me to this but I believe you still need to apply to be included in the 'second' beta release.
Done. Applied but nothing more since.

OK, I'm game! Is this still by invitation only, or open beta?

Re: PowerCadd 10

Oh, great question! My biggest concern about the emergence of PC 10 is possibly NOT having Wild Tools and actually still working in PC 9 because of that. Absolutely, positively the one most important above all else is Move Points, and I'm sure I speak for a friend as well. After that are linear move...

... Sometimes I wonder why I bother.
I'm still listening even if I don't talk that much. Still hanging in there with a two machine setup now: PowerCADD on one and SketchUp on the other running Monterey.

Re: PowerCadd 10

BTW, one of the most common complaints on the SketchUp bulletin board system is that the developer never gives a clue about the status of the next version as in when it will come out or what to expect. There's usually a lot of defensive talk about a publicly traded company not leaking inside informa...

Weird, like you're saying a person could drop a folder full of .PC9 files on a little macro app, and it would churn through them and save .PC10 versions?
That's what I'd like to see. I'm not the guy with the knowledge to do it, but I don't think that's a huge programming challenge to accomplish.

Re: PowerCadd 10

This is the kind or truly repetitive task that computers are really good at. I wish it could be automated like open every file in a given folder and then resave with a bit of text appended to the name to make it unique. Maybe even Apple script or something could do this? I have a similar problem jus...
