Re: transparent background in PDF

you're welcome - glad it worked it's worth exploring the SNAP and GUIDE functions in Concepts. Might speed you up In general I prefer Morpholio Trace over Concepts. While Morpholio isn't objected based - it mimics our traditional sketch trace model - it works to whatever scale needed. BOTH have a pl...

Re: transparent background in PDF

...opening the PDF in Concepts on my iPad, where it has a white backgroun...FWIW, Concepts is vector-based, so it's not like it's rasterizing it. Steve I'll wager it's an issue in the import settings you're using within Concepts. When choosing import make sure to check the transparency Icon in the ...

Re: Keystoke Help

The Move you seem to be referring to a Floating Window - NOT - a menu command (i.e. not in the Edit menu... ) So, to set a key command for the Move Window (which is a sneak peek into the Move Dialog box accessed from the Edit menu > Move... ), open the Preferences > Commands dialog like you have alr...

Re: Magnetic Windows

I'm running PCadd 9.1.11 and Mac OS X Mojave 10.14.6 and it works as described in the Manual on pages 186 and 378. It's worth noting that even with the general application preference for magnetic windows ON, each window has its own specific/unique preference as noted on page 378. It's worth checking...

Blossom Palette

I don't see an option for the Blossom Pallette. I'm running version 9.1.8 and am trying to find a way to do a "revision cloud". When googling I found an old site for PowerCADD 7 that mentioned the Blossom Pallette but I can't find it in my version. Any ideas? Or if not the Blossom Pallette, any way...

There's a Hole in My Donut

Two other Options to get the filled donut that I believe uses fewer steps and is quicker Option A: WildTools Thicken Tool With the two circles drawn (donut edge and hole): 1. Option+Click on WTools Thicken Tool and set to INTERACTIVE 2. Drag from Outer donut circle toward donut hole 3. Press " S " f...

Cutting Bitmaps/Pdfs

...PixelTools...greeted with an empty pallet....Anyone else? Running Mojave here. I see the same empty palette here in Mojave 10.14.6 - WTools 10.1.3 v5 running inside of PCadd 9.1.10 (build SG10) Fortunately, cropping placed objects is already a part of PowerCADD and WT PixelTools isn't required. ...

...in the recent PowerCADD 9.1.8 (Build RB15) and WildTools (9.1.3 v5) versions? David - as an aside - you may want to take advantage of the free update on EngSW's website to PowerCADD 9.1.10 (with the corresponding WT update). That will keep you current. Don't Install Catalina

An alternative - albeit a pain in the arse… With the APFS file system in Catalina (and Mojave) it's possible to create a partition, sharing the free space between the Catalina and Mojave partitions. Then just move over what’s good in Catalina, and keep the Mojave (or High Sierra) partitions as fallb...
