Digital Signatures

We are now required to have a 'Digital Signature' in the pdf drawings when submitting to the Building Department. My drawings include a scanned signature but this new requirement is for a authenticated signature that can be created within Adobe and when the document is opened, it displays this authe...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Thank you for the update, I’m sure it will be worth the wait. Mean while I remain very productive using pc9 on my 2017 iMac with 3 monitors and a Mac Studio for current software that needs it, a minor inconvenience but not the end of the world, and definitely better than moving to other software-I’v...

Re: PowerCadd 10

Great news. While I'm looking forward to seeing the first release of PC10, as designers we all know that completion of a complex project can be a moving target.

Re: PowerCadd 10

I'll be moving from the older machine running Mohave to a new Studio Mac running the most current-so at least for me, I don't see any reason to not start with current OS and go forward from there.

Re: PowerCadd 10

The impression I think all had was that PowerCadd 10 was an update to the existing program to make it work on current Mac OS, and that this was progressing along well. This was very attractive as it (hopefully) would enable use of existing drawings-those of us long term users have decades of details...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

Many years ago, back in the PowerDraw years, after a several year stretch an upgrade was released. It had many of the features users had been asking for, and I switched my machines over to it and, being in the middle of several projects, finished them up and sent out drawings to clients. But then I ...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

Great news, I have an M1 Mac Studio ready to go-I’ll be using my past approach over major upgrades of doing production work on the existing platform and then duplicating this on the new platform until I’m seeing no issues.

Re: PowerCADD Future

Also a PowerCadd user since 1993-was and still is the basis of my consulting engineering practice. I've tried AutoCadd and Revit and in both cases could see that my productivity would take a big hit. I'm thrilled that PC will be updated for the new Macs. I did Beta testing over the years, and would ...
