Re: PowerCADD Future
Just a thought for Todd... Todd, at this point, you've basically said "it's over," and I respect that. If nothing changes, then there are no more software sales, and no future benefit that I'm aware of. It seems to me that the best thing for you, first of all, would be to sell the code and all devel...

Re: PowerCADD Future
My understanding is that Parallels won't run on the new Apple-chip Macs, but I've also heard that they're working on an upgrade, so that should eventually be possible. As for any greater detail, I haven't run Parallels in over a decade, so I have no clue as to your other questions.

Re: PowerCADD Future
Todd, I understand the economics. What you may not be factoring is that many of us would pay 2, 3 or 4 times the current rate to keep PC. I know I would pay 20k for 5 seats right now for an M1 updated version. Just another perspective. -Frank Frank, I heartily second that. PowerCADD was sold at a b...

Re: ungroup hatch from shape
Thanks! Just experimenting with some of my other hatches; it's just a few for which it doesn't work, but then I can use Attr>Hatch Settings to take care of it.

ungroup hatch from shape
For what seems like forever, I could do "convert to object" on any hatched shape and it would separate the hatch from the shape so I could delete the shape and be left with just the hatch. At that point, I could assign a different line weight to the hatch, and if I moved it to a different layer, it ...

the most inconsequential question ever
I only ask because I like putting stuff in order: I have my most common drawing templates stored in the Stationery folder, but when I create a new drawing, they come up in random order. Is there a way to re-order the stationery in the New Document window?

Re: transparent background in PDF
I tried Trace for a couple days and will likely go back and learn it for other things. But what I'm doing now is a pen-and-ink rendering style that demands crispness, which Concepts does well. Also really liking GoodNotes as a simple PDF markup device, like correcting drawings. I've hard good things...
