Losing shortcuts when program crashes

They are still there. It seems to happen when the software crashes (usually when trying to translate a DXF or DWG file), or if the power is turned off. Ya. I think PowerCADD only saves them when the program quits, so if you run it and set them and don't close the program they will never get saved, ...

Losing shortcuts when program crashes

Create the key commands. Save the document. Quit PowerCADD.

Open PowerCADD.

Open Recent/Open Popular?

That's a great idea, Patrick.

I recently added a layer to my titleblock stationery file and put all my commonly used dingbats and symbols and stuff I reach for into that layer. I set it to non-print and usually have it not displayed. That way they're always handy.

Snap to Grid & Grid Lines

I think we should be able to save a stationery file that is used when importing. You could establish default layering, lineweights, view preferences etc that way.

Agree on grid snap and show, but for me the worst is WYSIWYG lineweights being off on dwg import.

I am also occasionally given pdf forms that have been populated with information to fill out the form, that needs to b...

Is that the one you get from PowerCADD's Help menu?
It's the one in my WildTools Documentation folder. And yes.

Rotate multi items around center of each object

Hmm. I am looking at WildTools10Docs.pdf file dated May 10 2018 and it is the Spin Tool. I must have the wrong file?

Dang,

Don't you hate it when you realise there is an easier way just after you've posted something?!

Rotate everything then select all the notes and use WildTool Spin Tool to unspin them in place.

Opening PowerCADD

If I start PowerCADD from the Dock, i am presented with a New Document Dialog, with a list of stationary files and the buttons on the bottom say: Open and Existing File..., Close, and Choose. Would be a delightful, and useful surprise to also have a button that says Open Recent... with those three, ...
