Re: Autocad
VW Architect is a great program. That is why I re-invested in it. I've had this program since 1996 when it was MiniCAD. Sketchup has become a subscription application, so I'll sign into it once I obtain my new desktop. I have tried in earnest to check out other programs. AutoCad posed scaling proble...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
As a former PC/WT user and longtime Vectorworks architect user I decided to take advantage of VW's perpetual licensee offer as of 1/23 VW is moving to the subscription agreement direction..... I decided to bite on that offer myself. At the very least, I needed to continue with a really great render...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
Keith Renton - I would be most grateful to connect with you (and any others that have transitioned from PC to Vectorworks) to help me gauge if the jump makes sense for our office. My office has VectorWorks. it is a robust 2D-3D BIM program that builds models and does a nice job rendering, although ...

Re: Not quite OT- New Printer
On Canon's wide format printers, Canon themselves calls their cartridges "ink tanks."lava wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 5:02 amYou could call the ink cartridges “tanks” as they are quite large....johncruet48 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 4:57 pmBack in 2010 I had a Canon 36" wide format printer. Re: Not quite OT- New Printer
John, What mac OS is the T230 compatible with - website does not list operating systems. Thanks I am running Mojave (10.14.6) on my current Mac. The T230 seems to print with no problems. You will have to download the printer driver from HP's website- they will give you the link to do so. HP has Mac...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!
I've been using PowerCADD since the earliest days of PowerDraw, trained by Barry Isakson. I'm about to retire but still need a functioning 2D drafting program, because I will always take on a few projects. I have my doubts that this update will happen anytime soon (why wouldn't I?). What is anyone'...

Re: Not quite OT- New Printer
I long ago had it with my HP plotter, and Epson photo printer for that matter. I went for everything Canon and have been very satisfied. Hope to never go back. IPF670 and Pro9000II. Back in 2010 I had a Canon 36" wide format printer. It used ink tanks. These were not refillable. Also, the print hea...

Not quite OT- New Printer
One aspect of me as a PowerCADD user is that I still have occasion to print out wide format prints in house. So imagine my disdain when I tried to order cartridges for my HP DesignJet 111 and found out these were being discontinued! So there was a number to contact HP for further information. When I...

Wow! This looks great. Like all others, I cannot wait for the release of this product. It will take my practice to yet another level! Thanks to the development team for their hard work and diligence.
