Re: Life after/beyond PowerCadd?

I haven't really thought this out completely, but it occured to me that PowerCadd ought to become a user owned cooperative. I am wondering if all PC users- (I have no idea what the numbers are) could chip in some amount of money to pay Todd Stanley for the program, and then possibly hire a few good ...

Re: Clarification-the future of PowerCadd

The only potential option I see is that the new M1 iMacs may be so blazingly fast that running Mojave under Parallels (or the other virtulization software) is feasible, if overly complicated. Todd Stanley, its time to speak up with the full truth of what is happening or what is not happening.

Re: What do you need?

Add me to PC and WT running 64 bit Big Sur and M-1 chip. Every year TurboTax only runs on an OS 2 years old or newer. I have been juggling operating systems for years now, and would like to stop the clown act.

Re: Best specs for powercadd?

I am no authority, but I suspect that any i3, i5, or i7 processor will run PC9 satisfactorily, with not much difference between them. However, a computer with an SSD drive, as opposed to mechanical or fusion drive will likely be faster, especially for opening and saving documents.

Re: Looking for PixelTools

Thanks Alfred. I appreciate your efforts. It seems as if programming Wild Tools is a task along the lines of the Myth of Sisyphus! Hoping the boulder finally rests on the top of the hill.

Looking for PixelTools

I have been running recently upgraded PowerCADD 9.1.11 with WildTools 10.1.3 v5. for about a month. Just today wanted to open the PixelTools Palette. The Palette appears, but is totally empty of tools- just an empty rectangle. The WT documentation says that PixelTools is contained within SketchTools...

Re: Acclimating myself to PowerCADD 9 from 6

I found that the general PowerCADD preferences have a Hide Toolbar option that takes effect after quitting and re-opening PowerCADD. Does anyone like the Toolbar and find it useful? It seems unnecessary to me. After using command-P to print, command-O to open something, etc. for upwards of 30++ year...

Acclimating myself to PowerCADD 9 from 6

As I am beginning to get familiar with PowerCADD 9, most procedures are intuitive and windows are easy to set up as I like them. I have two little puzzles concerning the general Toolbar, across the top of the drawing. Both the Show/Hide Toolbar Button and the Customize icon, (both of which are suppo...

Re: Setting up my Mac to allow large size pages in PowerCADD

Many years back I had my own HP wide format printer. Around the time it died its final death, I discovered that local print shops allowed me to email them large format size, (i.e. 24" x 36") pdf files. I was able to select these print size pages because, even though the wide format printer was somew...
