Re: Not quite OT- New Printer

I long ago had it with my HP plotter, and Epson photo printer for that matter. I went for everything Canon and have been very satisfied. Hope to never go back. IPF670 and Pro9000II.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

before people come at me for insider information – I don't have any. A while ago Todd asked for some sample files as he was working on the display on PC10. I sent him a project file, and helped compare screen shots looking for display anomalies since I knew my drawing so well. Thats all I know! Davi...

Re: object fill with a hole

You have to make an edge that runs from the outside of the donut to the inside hole. Now typically PowerCadd will close the shape if you click on the same point, so you have to offset one of the edges when you are placing the polygon points, and after the shape closes you can move the points on top ...

Re: Register Your Interest in a Forward Move

Re: PowerCADD - SketchUp Interaction

Long time sketchup — PowerCadd user. I do not frequent any sketchup message boards since PushPull Bar closed. Never been to a base camp. Wouldn’t describe myself as a power user as there are many functions of sketchup I don’t use and I’m not familiar with. However I’ve used from the first Mac versio...

Re: Well Duh moments

What cracks me up is when I receive a floor plan for a brand new building and the overall dimensions are to some small fraction like 64’-0 3/64”, like that’s going to happen. When I got my first laser distance measurer I was miffed because it gave me measurements in 1/32s. At first I spent a lot of...

my question is which is funnier, decimal inches or decimal feet?
Decimal feet is standard in civil engineering. Don’t tell me you’ve never seen a surveyors tape with tenths of a foot marks.
