Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

So that forces an either or decision. A dual boot setup lets you do one or the other depending on which OS you boot under - which is not really great, or two different machines and sharing files back and forth. That takes more space, but is probably faster and more efficient. Neither is ideal.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

I'm hoping to jump from SketchUp 2020 to 2022 shortly. 2023 isn't so pressing, but 2020 is about to be dropped from support like 3D Warehouse etc. I set up a dual boot machine a while ago - Monterey and Mojave. The OS complains that Monterey disk formatting isn't compatible with Mojave, but I think ...

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

When it comes to deadlines ... well, I'm not in a position to throw stones so I'm not whining, but I'm glad to hear any news. I have a 2016 MBP with Monterey and Mojave waiting on deck. Moving to a new machine is always a bit of turmoil and disruption, but I'm long overdue.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

I could possibly beta test. My current set up is less than maximally efficient: I'm working on two machines with a third in the works, running Sierra on one, High Sierra on another and dual boot Catalina and Mojave on the third.

Re: New PowerCADD screenshot!

If it's a 2D view generated from a 3D model, there can be a lot of little broken lines and redundant lines; not an efficient 2D drawing. At least I see that coming from SketchUp model 2D views, so Vectorworks may not be any better.

I still run that sometimes on an old Titanium PowerBook in OS9. Not so much now though.

Re: PowerCADD - SketchUp Interaction

Gah! I think I just blinked and months went by! My apologies.

3D Basecamp is less than a month away. For those attending, I'm presenting twice: Wednesday @ 2:40 and Thursday @ 10:50. I'd love to connect with any other PowerCADD user that are attending.
