Glad to be a part of this forum and glad this is independent of the woebegone Design Community site and its multitude of problems.

I am John Cruet. I am an architect in Southern Connecticut. I've used Engineered Software programs since 1993. To this date, I run PowerCADD. It is my work horse program that does my construction drawings, and even on smaller projects, my specifications. On smaller projects, it all fits on one document. Sheet setup is a snap. Print Sheets is very handy. Appearance of drawings is great. My range of projects goes from retail fitups to multi-family buildings.

I run Apple equipment in my office. I just purchased a 2019 MacBook Pro which, after a few days of teething issues, finally got it on line. The MacBook Pro runs Mojave.

I advise my fellow PowerCADD users to NOT upgrade to Catalina.

I also run a mid-2011 iMac 21", running El Capitan.

I look forward to sharing discussions and notes with my fellow PowerCADD Mac users.

Cheers to you Connecticut! Up in Northern Massachusetts I'm doing a similar thing architecturally... Plus as a diversion tonight... Bourbon chicken on the grill, air fried butternut squash, and whole grain brown rice in chicken broth. And a couple glasses of Seven Deadly Red, a 2015 Lodi blend. Stay strong!

Glad to see John on board here. We've known each other for years, and were practically neighbors till I moved one town over.

Latest update- my iMac mid-2011 now runs High Sierra. PowerCadd runs fine on this platform. Much of the grunt work is done on the laptop.

Obviously I also run WildTools. WildTools makes PowerCADD run like it's on testosterone. Thanks to Alfred Scott for this wonderful add-on.
