"New" machine migration

Post by RTCool » Tue Nov 19, 2019 5:30 pm

I've trying to migrate to a "new" (actually 2014 MBP) for a while. I've now updated it to High Sierra, and tried the 9.1.8 Expert installer. It updated but Wild Tools didn't seem to take. I can see it in the folder, but it's not working. I want to be sure everything is ready, up and running before migrating daily use from one machine to the other.

I'm not sure I'm getting notifications for new versions, nor is the check update working. There's now a version 9.1.10?

Thanks. Ever so slight different URL from where the application sends you. I remember it being that way, but couldn't find a record.

This time seemed to work, and I'm good to go.

Bear in mind Migration Assistant, when I used it to migrate to my new MacBook Pro, introduced a number of permission issues. I had to wormy way through these. All seems to be fine right now.
