This is a little premature, but I'm working on a new version of WildTools to work with the current shipping version of PowerCADD. It will include all the things I've added in the past four years. Which is a lot...

To see this, please visit the WildTools items in the PowerCADD Help menu.

In Help/WildTools Updates, there is a description of all of the new features. When it's ready to go, you will be able to use the WildTools Downloads button at the bottom of the window.

Help/WildTools Release Notes and Help/WildTools Read Me describe the update, and also the Help/WildTools Documentation is now up-to-date for what I have on my machine here.

I've had an Auto Update mechanism in place for many years, but it's never been turned on. The idea is that when a new version is available, it will take you to this Help/WildTools Updates dialog and then you can download and install on your own.

In the meantime, you can be reading up on all this, and download the WildTools Documentation which you can stay busy reading. I'm off to Florida on Tuesday and back in the first week of March.

Your brain is a use-it-or-lose-it organ.

There are others that I don’t want to talk about!

Alfred,

You are probably the ONLY reason I stay on PCADD. I need 2 new computers and neither will run 32 bit apps so I'm kind of in a tight place. I know, I could get an older model, but seeing as how I keep computers for a long time (MacBook Pro 8 years, iMac 7 years) I really want to get the latest including a new iMac that has the T2 chip.

Have a great vacation and Thank You!!

Ralph

Ralph,

You can buy a new machine and install Mojave on it.

WildTools 10.6 is going to blow your mind. No one, including me, has ever seen a full working copy on their machine. Not all things work on my current machine for various reasons.

I have an old iMac 27 with dual monitors, and yesterday bought a new white keyboard that is still in its original box unopened. I hate those new keyboards.

Yesterday I put the final touches on the auto updater for WildTools that will notify you when I have a new version, which will be often. However, you will need WildTools 10.6 or later for it to work. You will have to initiate things yourself in your current version, you poor thing.

I will not be able to do the next step until I’m back in my office in March. There are a lot of great programming changes that are in the development version of PowerCADD and I hope I can get them all working in the current shipping version of PowerCADD.
