"we hope to launch the new PowerCADD by the end of next summer"
I was trying to work out the date for the end of summer and then I noticed that second word.

Will there be a public beta? How far are we from release/news?

The continual annoyance is that we PowerCADD users are not even sure who to ask about new PowerCADD development. On one hand, Todd Stanley rarely announces anything; development is supposed to be by or in conjunction with the developers at FormZ, and a recent look at their bulletins only shows the initial announcement of the collaboration, (from late last year), and nothing since. Alfred Scott possibly knows what is going on or not going on, but is justifiably focussed on Wild Tools. That leaves the rest of us essentially in the dark. The critical question is not a public beta or release date, but the simple question of 'Is PowerCADD being developed at all?' I would love to know!

From Todd to a user who just asked:
We have been hard at work on PowerCADD 10 since partnering with AutoDesSys, Inc. Our expectation is for release late this year.

Best,
Todd

I spoke with Autodessys last week and was very encouraged. I was told that beta testing will start this summer with a release before the end of the year. I was also told they will be selling the product directly.

Did they mention how one can get involved in the beta program?
Thanks

I did not ask about beta testing because I'm running an old OS for Powercadd.

You said it. I'm hanging on to this crusty old MacBook Pro hoping that it can hold out until the new release! Really hope it's this year. I've been using PowerCADD for 17 years and really don't want to learn a new platform.
