The last few days, the text edit windows have been 'flashing' - looks like they are rapidly redrawing themselves. Annoying but functioning. Happening in multiple drawing files. No files are working correctly, so thinking its the app, not the file. This morning, using command E, or Edit from menu, the text edit window does not open at all. And when I double click on text to edit without opening a window, it enlarges to be unreadable and noneditable.

I remember having different but similiar issues a few years ago, and called and someone helped me do some resetting. I don't remember what that was. In a crunch to get these drawings out today! any ideas?
