I’ve been using PowerCADD for about 10 years now. I got started with an architectural firm in Hawaii, and I was pretty nervous about dropping my years of training in AutoCAD and switching platforms. I was shocked at the learning curve, less than five work days, and I had the program down pat. Since then I have made a point of using new or different tools and techniques regularly which has helped my skill level grow over the years.
Even my daughter, starting at two years old, loves to use PowerCADD — she has taken the drawing of circles to a level I never thought possible.
I now live in Austin, Texas, and I work from home while also working in a small firm here, designing commercial and residential projects.
